Hello
Hello. I am Dr Chanda London. Welcome to my site. I'm glad you're here. I hope after spending some time here you will begin to appreciate the high level-expertise that my years of experience in diverse laboratory settings can offer your organization, clients, and stakeholders.

My Story
I am a seasoned laboratory professional. In my most recent role, I served as the Sr Director of Laboratory Operations for Discovery Life Sciences, a global Biotechnology company headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama dedicated to serving researchers in the life sciences industry, academia, pharmaceutical, and government sectors.
I possess over 20 years of professional experience working in the healthcare industry. I began my career in laboratory medicine working in Histopathology. Since then, my sought after experiences and skills has led to evolving opportunities over the years in laboratory operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic management in the life science industry. I am also an author, presenter, and founder of Bridge Advocacy, an organization whose mission is to deploy patient advocacy and provide medical education to the African - American healthcare consumer. I have a passion for women’s health, and fairness in healthcare delivery in under-represented communities.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dillard University, a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Capella University, and a Doctorate degree in Healthcare Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am a lifelong learner and always seek opportunities to expand and apply my knowledge to the healthcare industry. I was recently awarded the Clinical Trial Research Associate- Data Management Certification from Durham Technical Community College to supplement my skills and drive the use of technology and artificial intelligence for Histopathology in clinical research. I also recently earned the Qualification in Biorepository Science (QBRS). I'm excited about my plans to apply this certification to quality management in the Pathology laboratory.
My professional affiliations include the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Patient Advocacy Certification Board (PACB), National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE), Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM), Association of Clinical Research Professionals, and Black Women in Clinical Research (BWICR). I hold professional certifications through my member affiliations in Histopathology, Laboratory Management, Healthcare Information & Management Systems, and Patient Advocacy.
It's my pleasure to provide volunteer service to my community as a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. through the organization’s various programs and community initiatives, and as a former executive board member for Woman 2 Woman, a Nashville nonprofit serving women and youth. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, photography, and interior design. It is my hope that as my professional journey continues, I can be part of your story.
